Centre County Housing and Land Trust announced that Rachel Fawcett has been named executive director.

Fawcett’s responsibilities include establishing relationships with local government, community organizations, corporations and community members, and overseeing fundraising, which will be developed through community outreach and marketing for the organization.

Fawcett, of Centre Hall, earned a bachelor of architecture degree from Penn State.

The mission of the organization is to provide development and oversight of affordable housing for Centre County residents, including those of low and moderate income.
