Sally spent her career in consumer and commercial finance, specializing in real estate – as the Assistant VP and Mortgage Department Head of Mellon Bank Central, while owning her own mortgage company and as a licensed realtor.
How does Sally describe the mission of CCHLT?
“To be recognized as a successful proponent for affordable housing in Centre County.”
Why does Sally support CCHLT?
“When I started out, I was a single mother with two sons looking for a home I could afford. Fortunately, home prices were much more reasonable then. I can empathize with those needing homes in this economic climate.”
Why should YOU support CCHLT?
“Our community should know the purpose of CCHLT is to oversee affordable housing ventures throughout the county. We need to build awareness about what our organization does and to recruit donors to help support our programs that provide affordable housing opportunities in Centre County.”
Centre County Housing and Land Trust strengthens communities through the development and stewardship of permanently affordable homes for people of low- to moderate-income in Centre County, PA. Since 2007, CCHLT has operated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit featuring the collaborative effort of five local organizations to focus on: promoting and preserving of affordable housing; providing education; creating partnerships; and assisting municipalities on affordable housing policies.
