Thank you to the State College Rotary Club! On Tuesday, February 16, Centre County Housing and Land Trust had the honor of being presented our first big check by Club President Debbie Fudrow. Board President, Tim Schoonover, and Executive Director, Rachel Fawcett, attended on behalf of CCHLT. State College Rotary Club made donations to over five other community organizations at the meeting. Their generosity was inspiring.
Early last year, Rachel, our ED, was given the opportunity to present to the State College Rotary’s weekly dinner meeting at the Nittany Lion Inn. You can read more about that presentation. In October 2015, CCHLT assisted the club with their Annual Sandwich Sale. Board members and staff sold tickets and volunteered the day of the event. We had a blast helping out. Read about it here. The State College Rotary’s theme for 2015-16 is to “be a gift to the world”. They live out this goal by serving in our community and financially supporting the organizations that make Centre County a great place to live.
If you would like to join in giving back financially with the State College Rotary Club, you can support CCHLT online or by mail. To make a gift to CCHLT, click the “Donate” button below or click here.
