Workforce Housing Rentals

CCHLT works with local municipalities to provide opportunities for individuals and families to live near where they work, attend school and enjoy recreational activities.

Individuals and families are housing burdened when more than 30% of their monthly income is spent on housing, and impacts both owners and renters alike. In Centre County, there is a significant need for more affordable rentals. Working with local municipalities, CCHLT is helping them provide more opportunities for individuals and families to live near where they work, attend school and enjoy recreational activities.

Currently, there are workforce housing units available in College Township at Aspen – State College.  This rental community contains 28 one-bedroom workforce housing units. The units are available for qualified tenants earning no more than 65% Area Median Income.
